Argento took the decision to remove the loyalty scheme as it clashed with the philosophy of many of our brands, to the point that we could not or very soon would no longer be able to offer loyalty points on quite a few of our biggest brands in store.

For example, since last July we haven’t been able to redeem stamps against Pandora and very shortly, we wouldn’t have been able to redeem them against Olivia Burton or Nomination.

To replace the loyalty scheme, we’re looking at offers that we feel will be better value to our customers. Since the loyalty scheme ended, we’ve had a 3 for 2 offer on Pandora rings where, for example, if you bought two rings for £30 each, you received another ring for free worth £30. Therefore, by spending £60, your received a free gift worth £30.

We’ve also had the Nomination offer where you get a free silver Nomination bracelet & Rose Gold charm worth £25 if you spend £50+. We feel that offers like this will offer more value to our customers than the loyalty scheme where you had to spend £120 to redeem £10 of a purchase, on certain brands only.

Regarding how to communicate the loyalty scheme ending, we took the decision that due to it being an in store promotion only, the best way of informing our customers of this, was to do it in store. Therefore, in advance of the scheme ending on 17th July, we ensured strut cards have been in place at till points within our store network from May.

(IF APPLICABLE) We also appreciate that you feel we should have made an exception as you only entered the store xxx days after the offer ended or you hadn’t been in store to see the strut cards, but we took the decision that we can't make an exception for one customer and not another, so that everyone was treated equally. We had to have an end date and stick to it.

We hope you continue to be a valued customer in future and look out for the ongoing brand promotions, like the ones mentioned above, that we are agreeing to offer as an alternative to our loyalty scheme.

Apologies again for any disappointment or inconvenience this has caused.
